It’s GO time!

Competitors, are you ready?! The Bring-A-Friend Fitness Competition is less than 48 hours away– have you been practicing your toughest game faces? All competitors should have received the schedule of events; if not, click on this link.

The first heat of the first workout will kickoff at 9:30 sharp! After that, things will move quickly, so please pay close attention to your heat times…be ready!

There will be a 500 Meter Rowing Challenge for all spectators, so if you’d like to participate, please dress appropriately! The Rowing Challenge will be available from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm — the person with the fastest 500 meter time will win a prize!

Stick around afterwards for burgers, dogs, and refreshments — we will have the food ready by 12:00 pm, and will be closing things down by 1:00 pm.

  • 2 tablespoons fat (I used grass fed butter, but you could use bacon fat or coconut oil)

Have you noticed…

…that we are in the middle of front squat cycle? We do our best to communicate our programming methodology to you every time that you’re in the box. For those of you who have been with us for a while, you’re probably starting to notice how we do things. And for those of you who are brand new, please don’t hesitate to ask about the “method to our madness” — trust us, we take great care and pride with the programming of your workouts.

Yes, we keep the metcons “constantly varied” — but there is a purpose to them, as there is a purpose to our strength workouts, as well. If you’re ever confused about the “why” of it all, just ask us, we’d be happy to tell you all about it! :-)

4. We will be closed on Monday, May 27th, for Memorial Day. However, we’d love for you to join us and our friends at Anchor CrossFit for “Memorial Day Murph” — it’s a great opportunity to meet other CrossFitters, and participate in a mentally/physically challenging CrossFit Hero WOD…and it is for a very noble cause.
