CrossFitters! Breast Cancer Awareness Month is just around the corner. To show our support, we will be hosting “Barbells for Boobs” which is an annual fundraiser, sponsored by CrossFit affiliates around the world.
Where: Big Horn CrossFit
When: October 27th from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
What: 100% of net proceeds collected from ALL fundraising events will support BARBELLS FOR BOOBS, a 501(c)3 non-profit breast cancer organization whose mission is to provide funding for qualified low income and uninsured women and men who need screening and / or diagnostic procedures in the prevention of breast cancer.
How: We will be doing the workout “Grace” (30 clean & jerks for time) in support of this cause. We will be doing Rx’d weights as well as scaled weights, so everyone can participate! Also, we will be having a cook-out after the event–the food items list is posted on one of the whiteboards at the gym; please sign up to bring something.
