Today you will be working up to a one-rep max for the clean & jerk. This is the first time that many of you will be attempting this lift. But as many of you know, this is NOT the first time that you’ve executed either a clean or a jerk exclusively. You’ll just be putting the two movements together. It’s a beautiful thing, really. You are prepared. That’s why we consistently hit the skills and drills of complex lifts such as the clean and jerk, and snatch. They take practice, hard work, consistency, and good coaching. So get after it!
