Favorite WOD (workout): Any workout that doesn’t have thrusters.
Least favorite WOD (workout): If it has thrusters.
Tell us about your sports and fitness background: Basic sports growing up…I’ve always maintained a level of exercise my whole life, whether it’s yoga, gym life, walking, running, riding my bike, and exercising with my favorite buddy, Oakland. I have always loved lifting weights.
How did you first get exposed to CrossFit? In 2013 I became bored with going to the gym and wanted to go another direction, so I came across a Boot Camp class, and my two daughters and I did a 5-week program. I wanted to continue, so I was told by a friend to check out a CrossFit gym. I’ve “drank the Kool-Aid,” and have been at Big Horn CrossFit ever since.
Take us back to your first WOD (workout): Lol…it got erased from the whiteboard so I have no clue!
What sort of changes have you seen in your body? I like my strength, I sleep like a baby, and baby GOT BACK!

Favorite Big Horn CrossFit moments: When I PR (of course)!
Advice for people getting started? No egos allowed, your only competition is yourself. Fight through the doubt and embrace the challenge (remind me of this when I am hating a workout, lol!).
Hobbies, interests outside of CrossFit? Motorcycle life, scrapbooking, being a grandparent, family, love museum exhibits, reading (when I can), steak, and happy hour.
