Frank brings a certain vibe to every class that he attends — and the vibe is always positive. Frank has embraced everything about the culture of Big Horn CrossFit. From being super-consistent week in and week out, to always being willing to participate in our volunteer opportunities, as well as our social events…Frank is there. Favorite WOD (workout): Definitely a fan of Olympic Weightlifting workouts.
Least favorite WOD (workout): Any workout where I’m not putting my all into it.
Tell us about your sports and fitness background: None. I have, however, paid for a few gym memberships and not used them. :)
How did you first get exposed to CrossFit? Through a good friend and then one day just decided to drop-in and see what it was all about.
Take us back to your first WOD (workout): Baseline. I remember being sore the next day and was hooked from then on.
What sort of changes have you seen in your body? Lost 25lbs with a combo of diet and CrossFit. I’ve also increased my strength and endurance.
What sort of changes have you seen in your life? More active in general. This is the first time I have been consistent in showing up to workout.
Favorite Big Horn CrossFit moments: 1st Fridays and being there when members hit new PRs.
Advice for people getting started? Just start and don’t be afraid to scale down workouts if needed. Focus on proper technique and the strength will come.
Hobbies, interests outside of CrossFit? Family, friends, dogs, volunteering, sci-fi, hiking and eating.
