Many of you have probably noticed that we haven’t gotten the assistance bands out for pull-ups lately. Have we forgotten about them? Nope, not at all! Remember when we called you a month ago, and asked you about your goals? Well, one common theme was, “I wanna get a pull-up!”

Assistance bands are appropriate sometimes, sure. However, in regards to building the strength (and confidence) to do an unassisted pull-up…well, let’s just say that bands aren’t gonna get you there. We have several tools in our CrossFit coaches’ toolbox to help you get your first pull-up — so NO bands for a while, okay? Keep chasing after those goals!
