So CrossFit gets you super-fit overnight, right? Wrong. However, because CrossFit exposes our weaknesses (whether we like it or not), we are forced to learn how to overcome them. And in the midst of this, we get better…we get fitter…we amaze not only our coaches, but ourselves. But, like Coach Glassman said, if we hide from these weaknesses, we will only be doing ourselves a huge disservice with regard to meeting our fitness goals.
Do not “cherry-pick” the workouts. Show up. Try your best. Who knows, maybe you will achieve a personal record (PR). But you surely will NOT achieve anything if you do not go…and attack your weaknesses with a vengeance!
