I have been involved in sports and athletics nearly all of my life. The joy of running, jumping, lifting, climbing, and pushing my body to its physical limit has always been a big part of who I am. I was introduced to CrossFit in 2006, while I was still in the active duty Air Force–I became addicted immediately! The methodology of training was relatively new to that branch of the service, so I decided to introduce it to as many people as I could.
In 2008, I applied for my first CrossFit affiliation. A few weeks later, CrossFit Ramstein (Germany) was up and running; we taught CrossFit in the base gym to anybody that was interested. I learned a great deal about myself through managing that affiliate and training CrossFit to others. I had found my niche…my passion! My dream had become to one day, after I had separated from the military, to open up my very own CrossFit gym, and make it a career. My enlistment obligation ended in the fall of 2011, and I feel very blessed that my dream has become a reality!
CrossFit has inspired me…it has helped me achieve so many amazing milestones in my life – in and out of the gym. I want to share that with others, and help them reach their fitness, personal, athletic, and professional goals.
