The Junkyard Dog and Burgener Warm-up are two great methods for preparing you for the Snatch and Clean & Jerk. Some of you have already done them, and some of you may be hearing about them for the first time. Either way, it is my goal to incorporate these two warm-ups before any WOD that involves some type of Olympic Lifting. And if you are not familiar with them, don’t worry, we will demonstate the exercises and provide you with the necessary intstruction.
Before you know it, the Junkyard Dog and Burgener Warm-Up will become second-nature to you, and your muscles will “remember” how to execute the movements without much thought at all.
